The Modular Concept - an overviewConsafe's modular concept allows the construction of technically complexed multi-level buildings to undertaken by offsite manufacturing techniques. Consafe's technology is based on individual steel framed modules that are manufactured and outfitted within Consafe's enclosed facilities in Aberdeen, Scotland. This indoor manufacture allows the individual modules to be constructed and completed to exacting specifications in a clean environment to ensure a higher quality product than normal on-site methods can achieve. This offsite pre-assembly also allows extensive testing to be carried out at this advanced stage. After delivery to the construction site they can be structurally assembled quite quickly with the interior services and finishes being hooked-up thereafter. This whole approach allows a rapid and reliable start-up on site.
