Electrical and Utilities Control Buildings

Consafe has repeatedly demonstrated its capability to design, manufacture and install pre-commissioned services buildings into remote or hazardous sites; whether as a single module  or as a series of individual modules interlinked together at site.

Whether the operational equipment is provided "free issue " or whether it is designed and procured by Consafe's own specialists,  the end result is the delivery to site of a pre-completed facility that minimises site assembly time. 

Electrical Control Buildings ABB Pakistan

The complete commissioning and testing of these modules in Aberdeen prior to shipment eliminated a considerable risk on site for ABB. All the switchgear and control equipment was installed in Scotland and shipped as a series of seven modules for interconnection on site. The largest modules had a delivery weight of 100 Tonnes and measured  20m in length by nearly 6m wide and 4m high. This approach practically eliminates the site scope and provides rapid start up. 

Karachaganak Electrical Control Building               

With only a brief respite between the climatic extremes of summer and winter, this facility was required to be delivered and operational in a brief weather window.  In preparation for this Consafe designed, constructed and tested this 18 module facility in 22 weeks complete with its HVAC, UPS  and computer floor system. It was built to be fully compliant with Russian Gost standards requiring Consafe to perform fire tests in Kazakhstan to achieve compliance. The modules were fully commisioned in Aberdeen before being delivered by sea to Holland and then on by train to Kazakhstan.
